Dr. Michalski and his staff are dedicated professionals that take care of your smile and want to give you something to smile about—affordable dentistry. With this in mind, your Rocky Hill dentist accepts dental insurance and is in-network with Delta Dental, Cigna and Anthem. Seeing an in-network dentist ensures that you are receiving excellent care for the most reasonable fee. Our team will work with you to get the most out of your insurance, and that includes completing all paperwork and filing all claims. Doing so helps you receive the maximum allowable benefits for the covered treatment you need to have a healthy and beautiful smile.
As an in-network dental care provider with Delta Dental, Cigna and Anthem, Dr. Michalski has pre-determined fees for covered procedures. These typically include preventive dentistry such as your biannual checkups and annual x-rays, as well as a number of restorative services. Like Dr. Michalski, the insurance companies know that putting money toward helping you keep your family’s smiles healthy is money well spent. Prevention is often the key to avoiding more invasive treatments that, of course, cost you more money.
Delta Dental offers a number of benefit plans that all have different features. These plans are:
With Cigna, you’ll select one of three dental health plans:
And if your coverage is with Anthem, you’ll choose among:
If you have dental insurance with any of these carriers, then contact Dr. Michalski for coverage that gives you the most complete care.
There are some provisions in a dental insurance policy that are quite common in other types of insurance. For example, a deductible is the amount of money you must first pay out-of-pocket whether the insurance is for your car or your smile.
Similarly, your dental insurance plan probably carries a maximum. This refers to the top dollar amount your dental insurance plan will pay within a calendar year. To help you avoid exceeding this amount and having to spend more out-of-pocket to maintain your healthy smile, Dr. Michalski can work to schedule treatments over a couple of years. This way you are less likely to go over the maximum in any given year.
The coinsurance payment is the percentage you must pay for a particular service. This is separate and in addition to the deductible.
