Problem: Lita was very unhappy with her current smile and bridges that were breaking down, causing her difficulty with chewing. She wanted to replace the missing teeth and failing bridges with something that would last a long time, be most like natural teeth, and not have to be removed, such as a denture.
Solution: Dr. Michalski and Lita met over the course of several visits to discuss and explore the various options available. After taking her concerns and desires into account, he developed a plan to replace Lita’s deteriorating teeth with long lasting dental implants to support a fixed prosthesis that functions almost exactly like natural teeth, without the risk of tooth decay. This prosthesis, a full, implant supported bridge, was constructed using state-of-the-art guided implant surgery techniques and 3-dimensional cone beam CT technology, in order to provide the safest and most accurate dental implant placement. Since completed, Lita loves her new "teeth" and enjoys eating and smiling again with confidence. Click here to read more about guided implant surgery.

Solution: Kathy was very excited to learn from Dr. Michalski that despite missing so much bone in the back part of the jaw, she had plenty of bone in the front area to support 5 dental implants. These were enough to support a fixed bridge to replace all of the teeth, front and back, so that Kathy could chew like they were her own again! A new upper denture to work with the lower implant bridge completed Kathy’s beautiful new smile.

Once the original bone anatomy was restored, Dr. Michalski was able to place the implant in the precise position to replace the missing tooth most naturally. Now with his new tooth, Scott feels fully confident when he smiles and eats.

Problem: Jennifer never felt confident in her smile because of how much of her gums showed, always avoiding a relaxed, wide smile.
Solution: After careful measurements and diagnostics, Dr. Michalski determined Jennifer’s gummy smile was due to both excess gums around the teeth, and her upper lip moving too high when she did smile. To begin, he drastically changed Jennifer’s smile through a surgical procedure known as a gum lift, used to expose the natural teeth hidden by an excess of gum tissue. After whitening her teeth, Dr. Michalski suggested Botox be placed in a couple of key areas for tempering her upper lip movement. The result is the fantastic smile Jennifer always dreamed of.
